Dignity House is located in a residential setting on a hill where the beauty of the northern side of the island is seen. It provides a clear view of the azure blue ocean and a feeling of tranquillity. The surrounding white rooftops with splashes of colours of homes and green trees all year round, balmy breezes, together provide a place to heal the mind.
Who We Are
Dignity Foundation is the charity branch that supports the daily operations at Dignity House, a private mental health rehabilitation centre in Bermuda that endeavours to restore,
improve & empower individuals aged 18+ currently facing the harsh realities associated with mental illness &
substance misuse.
Our Why
Dignity Foundation believes that socioeconomic status should not be a barrier to receiving support services, nor should a person’s access to appropriate treatment be dependent upon their financial situation. The reason that Dignity Foundation exists is quite simple.
Everyone, no matter what race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or ability, deserves to live a life worth living and to experience positive mental health.
