MENTAL WELLNESS & SUBSTANCE RECOVERY

A place where people are restored, improved, and empowered to live a life worth living. Dignity House is located in a residential setting on a hill where the beauty of the northern side of the island is seen. It provides a clear view of the azure blue ocean and a feeling of tranquility. The surrounding white rooftops with splashes of colors of homes and green trees all year round, balmy breezes, – together provide a place to heal the mind.

Our Story

Nicholas and I prayed to God for direction, researched, and decided to step out in faith. Dignity House has been open since March 2022. Our first resident started in May 2022 and we have been busy assisting people in accepting their mental health challenges and changing, living their best life. God be praised for the work implemented in Dignity House for what we are currently doing. We are grateful to those who believe in what we are doing and for their support. We have to mention the Ignite Program. They have taught us how to operate as a business and also provide jobs for others – particularly those who have graduated from our program. We have been transformed from nurses to nurses who have a business in mental health rehabilitation. The reward for us has been the changed lives of our residents. We thank God for what He has done for them.

What our Clients Say

Professional approach to identifying an appropriate treatment approach for my child. Once my child started to attend Dignity House it was clear there was a good match between patient and treatment centre. Treatment is progressive for complex mental health issues but I think Dignity House is well equipped and can provide Dialetic Behavior Therapy which is a great help in our case. I would highly recommend Dignity House as a safe place for great treatment.

Thank you Dignity House for everything in helping my son through everything whilst living and engaging in his healing process there at Dignity House. My family would like to thank you all so much for your dedication. We always had faith in the program and appreciate it. Also, we look forward to his continued progress with you and your team. unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar.

Dear Kim & Nicholas, Apologies!!! I am remiss in not writing to you sooner to express our sincere appreciation and thanks for all you and your team did when we were at a loss on how to deal with the further recovery of our sister. It seems like yesterday when we first visited Dignity House to meet you and visit the property. Dignity House proved to be all we needed, the only institution in Bermuda providing the "transitional' element to recovery.

My husband battled severe depression and was suicidal. After inadequate treatments, a psychologist suggested Dignity House. From the start, they provided welcoming and supportive care. He joined their intensive inpatient and outpatient programs, improving in a warm environment. I'm relieved by his progress and ongoing support. We are grateful to Nicholas Darceuil and his wife Kim Ball-Darceuil for establishing Dignity House, a place of healing and hope.
